The most difficult task for a family is facing the imminent loss of a child.  We are proud to be one of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) preferred providers in North Metro Atlanta Georgia. We have a dedicated pediatric team that has experience in the special needs of this special population. Suzanne, our RN pediatric case manager, has been doing pediatric hospice for several years and is specialized in providing comfort and information to families who are facing tough decisions for the welfare of their child.

A children’s hospice is a hospice specifically designed to help children and young people who are not expected to reach adulthood. Malignancies are the most common terminal diagnosis.

We will be attending CHOA Palliative Care Conference 2017: Caring in Complexity: Pediatric Palliative Medicine and Hospice in the Medically Fragile Patient, and we have ongoing in-services throughout the year. We offer parental and sibling support, coordinate with Make a Wish requests and have a working relationship with pediatric-based home staffing.
